TCB rarely makes any clothings for summer and we always end up recommending denim jackets even in the summer every year but it's different this year! We are releasing our Painter Shorts made in reference to a pair of 50's painter pants from so-called the store brands such as J.C.Penney Co,Sears, Roebuck and Company, and Montgomery Ward and Co.
The vintage denim fabrics used by the store brands had somewhat greenish indigo blue but that's because it was dyed with the indigo mixed with some sulphur dyestuff probably because they wanted to cut down the cost. But if you try to reproduce it today, it costs even more since it's not the mainstream way to indigo dye these days.
It's 7.5oz fabric with the grey wefts used. Enjoy your summer with these new shorts!
Some explanations on the details and the hard wear used.
